Nallavanukku Nallavan: A Superhit Tamil Film
Nallavanukku Nallavan is a 1984 Tamil film directed by S. P. Muthuraman, music by Illayaraja, produced by AVM, starring Rajinikanth, Radhika, Karthik and Visu. The film was a blockbuster and won three Filmfare Awards South for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress.

Plot
The film revolves around Manickam (Rajinikanth), a youngster who gets reformed by Gangadharan (Visu), a kind man who eventually appoints him in charge of his business. Irked by his father's actions, Gangadharan's son Ramesh (Karthik) seeks revenge against Manickam. He plots to ruin Manickam's life by marrying his sister Uma (Radhika) and then divorcing her. However, Manickam foils his plans and exposes his true nature to Uma. He also reunites with his long-lost mother and brother, who were separated from him by Ramesh's father. The film ends with Manickam and Uma getting married and living happily.

Music
The music for the film was composed by Illayaraja, who used the tunes of some of his previous Telugu songs for this film. The soundtrack consists of six songs, which were written by Vaali and sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, S. Janaki, Malaysia Vasudevan and P. Susheela. The songs were well received by the audience and became popular. Some of the songs are:
